Ali ibn Abi Talib (arabe: عَلِيّ ٱبْن أَبِي طَالِب, ʿAlī ibn ʾAbī Ṭālib; 13 septembre 601 - 29 janvier 661) était un cousin et gendre du prophète islamique Muhammad, qui a régné en tant que quatrième calife de 656 à 661, mais est considéré comme le successeur légitime de Muhammad en tant qu'Imam par les musulmans chiites.
