Castello di Annone est une commune de la province d'Asti dans la région italienne du Piémont, située à environ 50 kilomètres (31 mi) au sud-est de Turin et à environ 9 kilomètres (6 mi) à l'est d'Asti. Castello di Annone est limitrophe des municipalités suivantes: Asti, Cerro Tanaro, Quattordio, Refrancore, Rocca d'Arazzo et Rocchetta Tanaro. Son nom dérive du latin ad nonum ("neuf milles"), indiquant sa distance d'Asti. Au Moyen Âge, c'était un important centre stratégique, jusqu'à ce qu'il soit détruit par les troupes espagnoles en 1644. En 1994, il a été inondé par la rivière Tanaro voisine.
