Speyer (prononciation allemande: [ˈʃpaɪ̯ɐ], orthographe plus ancienne Speier, connue sous le nom de Spire en français et anciennement Spires en anglais) est une ville de Rhénanie-Palatinat en Allemagne avec environ 50 000 habitants. Située sur la rive gauche du Rhin, Spire se trouve à 25 km (16 miles) au sud de Ludwigshafen et Mannheim, et à 21 km (13 miles) au sud-ouest de Heidelberg.
