Deinze est une ville et une municipalité de la province belge de Flandre orientale. Il comprend la ville de Deinze et les villes d'Astene, Bachte-Maria-Leerne, Gottem, Grammene, Meigem, Petegem-aan-de-Leie, Sint-Martens-Leerne, Vinkt, Wontergem et Zeveren. Au 1er janvier 2019, Deinze comptait 43500 habitants. La superficie totale de la municipalité est de 75,54 km2, ce qui donne une densité de population de 375 habitants par km². Le 1er janvier 2019, la municipalité de Nevele a été fusionnée avec Deinze.
