Polesella est une commune de la province de Rovigo dans la région italienne de Vénétie, située à environ 70 kilomètres (43 miles) au sud-ouest de Venise et à environ 11 km (7 mi) au sud de Rovigo. Polesella est limitrophe des communes suivantes: Arquà Polesine, Bosaro, Canaro, Frassinelle Polesine, Guarda Veneta, Ro. En 1509, ce fut le lieu de la bataille homonyme entre la flotte vénitienne et les troupes de Ferrare. La ville abrite le Palazzo Grimani, une résidence patricienne du XVIe siècle attribuée à Vincenzo Scamozzi et à la Villa Morosini (XVIe-XVIIe siècles).

Civitavecchia (prononcé [ˌtʃivitaˈvɛkkja]; qui signifie "ancienne ville") est une ville et une commune de la ville métropolitaine de Rome, dans la région centrale italienne du Latium. Port maritime sur la mer Tyrrhénienne, il est situé à 60 kilomètres (37 miles) à l'ouest-nord-ouest du centre de Rome.
