Davos (Royaume-Uni:, États-Unis:; allemand: [daˈfoːs] ou [daˈvoːs]; romanche: Tavau; italien archaïque: Tavate) est une ville alpine et une municipalité de la région de Prättigau / Davos dans le canton des Grisons, en Suisse. Il a une population permanente de 10899 (2018). Davos est situé sur la rivière Landwasser, dans les Alpes rhétiques, entre le massif du Plessur et l'Albula, à 1560 m d'altitude. L'ancien village de villégiature alpin se compose de deux parties: Davos Dorf (littéralement: "Davos village") au nord-est en direction de Klosters et plus bas à travers le Prättigau jusqu'à Landquart, et Davos Platz (littéralement: "lieu") au sud-ouest, qui ouvre dans la vallée de la rivière Landwasser et mène finalement à Filisur. Pendant la saison estivale, le col de Flüela mène au sud-est en Basse-Engadine.
