Monasterace (grec calabrais: Monaseraci; grec: Μοναστηράκιον, romanisé: Monastērákion, lit. 'petit monastère') est une commune (municipalité) de la province de Reggio Calabria dans la région italienne de Calabre, située à environ 50 kilomètres (31 mi) au sud de Catanzaro et à environ 90 kilomètres (56 mi) au nord-est de Reggio de Calabre. Les ruines de l'ancienne ville grecque de Caulonia sont situées à une courte distance au nord de la frazione Monasterace Marina, sur la côte. Également au nord de la marina de Monasterace se trouve le musée archéologique de Monasterace, où sont exposées des trouvailles de Caulonia.
