Dorum est un village et une ancienne municipalité du district de Cuxhaven, en Basse-Saxe, en Allemagne. Depuis le 1er janvier 2015, il fait partie de la commune Wurster Nordseeküste. Le Land de Wursten, une république d'agriculteurs quelque peu autonome, y compris Dorum, était depuis longtemps revendiquée par le prince-archevêché de Brême et, en 1524, elle fut officiellement soumise. En 1648, le prince-archevêché fut transformé en duché de Brême, qui fut d'abord gouverné en union personnelle par les Suédois et à partir de 1715 par la couronne hanovrienne. En 1823, le duché est aboli et son territoire devient partie intégrante de la région du Stade.
