Caltagirone (italien: [kaltadʒiˈroːne]; sicilien: Caltaggiruni [kaltaddʒɪˈɾuːnɪ]) est une ville intérieure et comune dans la ville métropolitaine de Catane, sur l'île (et la région) de Sicile, sud de l'Italie, à environ 70 kilomètres (43 mi) au sud-ouest de Catane. C'est la cinquième municipalité la plus peuplée de la ville métropolitaine, derrière Catane, Acireale, Misterbianco et Paternò. Aux côtés de Catane, c'est la seule ville qui siège un tribunal dans l'ancienne province. Depuis 1987, la commune a obtenu le titre de Ville, par acte présidentiel. Après Caltanissetta, c'est la deuxième commune la plus peuplée du centre de la Sicile.
