Zottegem (prononciation néerlandaise: [ˈzɔtəɣɛm], Sotteghem et Sottegem dans les anciennes langues anglaises et françaises) est une municipalité située en Belgique et plus particulièrement en Flandre, dans la province de Flandre orientale. La municipalité comprend la ville de Zottegem proprement dite et les villages d'Elene, Erwetegem, Godveerdegem, Grotenberge, Leeuwergem, Oombergen, Sint-Goriks-Oudenhove, Sint-Maria-Oudenhove, Strijpen et Velzeke-Ruddershove. Au 1er janvier 2018, Zottegem avait une population totale de 26373 habitants. La superficie totale est de 56,66 km², ce qui donne une densité de population de 470 habitants par km². Zottegem fait partie de l'aire géographique vallonnée des Ardennes flamandes (Vlaamse Ardennen); les collines et les rues pavées (Paddestraat) sont des endroits réguliers dans les classiques du cycle printanier de la Flandre.
