Görlitz ([ˈɡœʁlɪts]; dialecte lusacien supérieur: Gerlz, Gerltz et Gerltsch, polonais: Zgorzelec, haut-sorabe: Zhorjelc, bas-sorabe: Zgórjelc, tchèque: Zhořelec) est une ville de l'État fédéral allemand de Saxe. Située dans la région de Lusace sur la rivière Lusace Neisse, c'est la deuxième plus grande ville de Lusace après Cottbus et la plus grande de Haute-Lusace. Siège du district de Görlitz, le district le plus à l'est de l'Allemagne, ses quelque 56 000 habitants font également de Görlitz la sixième plus grande ville de l'État libre de Saxe. Il se trouve en face de la ville polonaise de Zgorzelec, qui faisait partie de Görlitz jusqu'en 1945. Bien qu'elle ne soit pas lusatiophone elle-même, la ville se trouve juste à l'est des régions de Lusace de langue sorabe.
