Karlsruhe (, également aux États-Unis:, allemand: [ˈkaʁlsˌʁuːə]; anciennement orthographié Carlsruhe) est la deuxième plus grande ville de l'État fédéral allemand du Bade-Wurtemberg après sa capitale Stuttgart, et ses 309 999 habitants (2016) en font le 21e plus grand ville d'Allemagne. Sur la rive droite du Rhin, la ville se situe près de la frontière franco-allemande, entre l'agglomération Mannheim / Ludwigshafen au nord et l'agglomération Strasbourg / Kehl au sud.
