Friedrichroda est une ville dans le district de Gotha, en Thuringe, en Allemagne. Il est situé au pied nord de la forêt de Thuringe, à 21 km en train au sud-ouest de la ville de Gotha. Elle est entourée de collines couvertes de sapins et possède de nombreuses belles villas, un Kurhaus et un sanatorium. Dans le voisinage immédiat se trouve le magnifique siège de chasse ducal de Reinhardsbrunn, construit à partir des ruines du célèbre monastère bénédictin fondé en 1085. Le 1er décembre 2007, les anciennes municipalités Ernstroda et Finsterbergen ont été incorporées par Friedrichroda.

Coblence (allemand: [ˈkoːblɛnts]; français: Coblence), orthographiée Coblence avant 1926, est une ville allemande située sur les deux rives du Rhin où elle est rejointe par la Moselle. Coblence a été établie comme poste militaire romain par Drusus vers 8 av. J.-C. Son nom provient du latin (ad) cōnfluentēs, qui signifie "(au) confluent" des deux fleuves. La confluence actuelle est aujourd'hui connue sous le nom de "coin allemand", symbole de l'unification de l'Allemagne qui présente une statue équestre de l'empereur Guillaume I.
