Oudenbosch ˈbɔs]) est un village de la municipalité de Halderberge à l'ouest de la province néerlandaise du Brabant-Septentrional. Oudenbosch est bien connue pour sa «Basiliek», une église catholique qui est une copie plus petite de la basilique Saint-Pierre de Rome. La gare d'Oudenbosch se trouve sur la ligne Dordrecht – Roosendaal (achevée en 1854). Oudenbosch était une municipalité distincte jusqu'en 1997, date à laquelle elle est devenue partie intégrante de la nouvelle municipalité de Halderberge.

Le Bureau central des statistiques des Pays-Bas (CBS) inclut en outre Katwijk dans l'agglomération, ce qui fait la population totale de l'agglomération de Leiden 270 879, et dans la plus grande zone urbaine de Leiden, Teylingen, Noordwijk et Noordwijkerhout sont également inclus avec un total de 348 868 habitants. Leiden est située sur l'Oude Rijn, à une distance d'environ 20 kilomètres (12 miles) de La Haye au sud et à environ 40 km (25 mi) d'Amsterdam au nord. La zone de loisirs des lacs Kaag (Kagerplassen) se trouve juste au nord-est de Leiden.
