Pfaffenthal est un quartier du centre de Luxembourg-ville, dans le sud du Luxembourg. Le quartier doit son nom aux mots allemands Pfaffen, qui signifie moine, et Tal, qui signifie vallée, car la région était autrefois administrée par l'abbaye bénédictine d'Altmunster.
