Malines ], français: Malines, nom anglais traditionnel: Malines) est une ville et une municipalité de la province d'Anvers dans la Région flamande de Belgique. La municipalité comprend la ville de Malines proprement dite, certains quartiers à sa périphérie, les hameaux de Nekkerspoel (adjacent) et Battel (à quelques kilomètres), ainsi que les villages de Walem, Heffen, Leest, Hombeek et Muizen. Le Dyle (néerlandais: Dijle) coule à travers la ville, d'où il est souvent appelé le Dijlestad ("Ville sur la rivière Dijle"). Malines se situe sur le principal axe urbain et industriel Bruxelles – Anvers, à environ 25 km de chaque ville. Les habitants trouvent un emploi dans les immeubles de bureaux industriels et nordiques du sud de Malines, ainsi que dans les bureaux ou l'industrie près de la capitale et de l'aéroport de Zaventem, ou dans des usines industrielles près du port maritime d'Anvers.
