Bracciano est une petite ville de la région italienne du Latium, à 30 kilomètres au nord-ouest de Rome. La ville est célèbre pour son lac volcanique (Lago di Bracciano ou "Sabatino", le huitième plus grand lac d'Italie) et pour un château médiéval particulièrement bien conservé Castello Orsini-Odescalchi. Le lac est largement utilisé pour la voile et est populaire auprès des touristes; le château a accueilli un certain nombre d'événements, en particulier les mariages d'acteurs et de chanteurs. La ville est desservie par un chemin de fer urbain (ligne FR3) qui la relie à Rome (gares d'Ostiense et Valle Aurelia) en 55 minutes environ.
