Pontida est une commune de la province de Bergame dans la région italienne de Lombardie, située à environ 40 kilomètres (25 mi) au nord-est de Milan et à environ 13 kilomètres (8 mi) au nord-ouest de Bergame. Au 31 décembre 2004, elle avait une population de 3 112 habitants et une superficie de 10,1 kilomètres carrés (3,9 milles carrés). Elle a abrité le serment de Pontida le 7 avril 1167. Pontida a reçu le titre honorifique de ville avec un décret présidentiel le 11 juillet 2006.
