Silla (coréen: 신라; Hanja: 新 羅; RR: prononciation coréenne Silla: [ɕil.la]) était un royaume situé dans le sud et le centre de la péninsule coréenne. Silla, avec Baekje et Goguryeo, ont formé les Trois Royaumes de Corée. Fondée par Hyeokgeose de Silla, de la famille Park, la dynastie coréenne a été dirigée par le clan Gyeongju Gim (Kim) (김, 金) pendant 586 ans, le clan Miryang Bak (Park) (박, 朴) pendant 232 ans et le Wolseong Seok (석, 昔) clan pendant 172 ans. Elle a commencé comme chefferie dans les confédérations de Samhan, autrefois alliée à Sui China puis Tang China, jusqu'à ce qu'elle finisse par conquérir les deux autres royaumes, Baekje en 660 et Goguryeo en 668. Par la suite, Silla a occupé la majeure partie de la péninsule coréenne, tandis que la la partie nord a refait surface sous le nom de Balhae, successeur de Goguryeo.
