Aversa est une ville et commune de la province de Caserte en Campanie, dans le sud de l'Italie, à environ 24 km au nord de Naples. C'est le centre d'un district agricole, l'Agro Aversano, produisant du vin et du fromage (célèbre pour la mozzarella de bufflonne typique). Aversa est également le siège principal des facultés d'architecture et d'ingénierie de la Seconda università degli studi di Napoli (deuxième université de Naples).
