Carentino est une commune de la province d'Alexandrie dans la région italienne du Piémont, située à environ 70 kilomètres (43 mi) au sud-est de Turin et à environ 15 kilomètres (9 mi) au sud-ouest d'Alexandrie. Au 31 décembre 2004, elle comptait 311 habitants et une superficie de 9,8 kilomètres carrés.
