Fabriano est une ville et une commune de la province d'Ancône dans la région italienne des Marches, à 325 mètres d'altitude. Il se trouve dans la vallée d'Esino à 44 kilomètres (27 mi) en amont et au sud-ouest de Jesi; et à 15 kilomètres (9 mi) à l'est-nord-est de Fossato di Vico et à 36 kilomètres (22 mi) à l'est de Gubbio (tous deux en Ombrie).
