Scilla est un genre d'environ 50 à 80 herbes vivaces formant des bulbes dans la famille des Asparagaceae, sous-famille des Scilloideae, originaire des zones boisées, des prairies subalpines et des plages en Europe, en Afrique et au Moyen-Orient. Quelques espèces sont également naturalisées en Australie, en Nouvelle-Zélande et en Amérique du Nord.
