Hourpes est un hameau de la province belge du Hainaut, en Région wallonne, situé près de la rivière Sambre à environ 5 kilomètres au nord-est de Thuin. Il est à environ 121 mètres (397 pieds) au-dessus du niveau de la mer, et possède sa propre gare (Gare de Hourpes), qui est située à environ 500 mètres (550 verges) à l'extérieur du hameau. Un bâtiment notable dans le hameau est le château de Hourpes construit vers 1887, il a été acheté et rénové au 21e siècle en utilisant prétendument l'argent d'une fraude à la taxe sur la valeur ajoutée (TVA).
