Mouscron (français: [mukʁɔ̃]; néerlandais: Moeskroen, prononcé [muˈskrun], Picard: Moucron) est une ville et une municipalité wallonne située dans la province belge du Hainaut, le long de la frontière avec la ville française de Tourcoing, qui fait partie de la Lille métropole. La commune de Mouscron comprend également les anciennes communes de Dottignies (Dottenijs), Luingne (Lowingen) et Herseaux (Herzeeuw). Conformément à la législation nationale, la commune propose des services bilingues en français et néerlandais. Courtrai, en Flandre, est située juste au nord de Mouscron. La ville s'est considérablement développée au cours du XIXe et au début du XXe siècle avec le développement de l'industrie textile dans le nord de la France.
