Hockenheim est une ville du nord-ouest du Bade-Wurtemberg, en Allemagne, à environ 20 km au sud de Mannheim et à 10 km à l'ouest de Walldorf. Il est situé dans la vallée du Rhin supérieur sur les itinéraires touristiques "Route des asperges de Baden" (Badische Spargelstraße) et Route commémorative Bertha Benz.
