Sulmona (Abruzzese: Sulmóne; Latin: Sulmo; Ancient Greek: Σουλμῶν, romanized: Soulmôn) est une ville et comune de la province de L'Aquila dans les Abruzzes, en Italie. Il est situé dans la Valle Peligna, un plateau autrefois occupé par un lac qui a disparu à l'époque préhistorique.
