Nyon [njɔ̃] est une municipalité dans le district de Nyon dans le canton de Vaud en Suisse. Il est situé à environ 25 kilomètres au nord-est du centre-ville de Genève et depuis les années 1970, il fait partie de la région métropolitaine de Genève. Il se trouve sur les rives du lac Léman et est le siège du district de Nyon. La ville a (en décembre 2018) une population de 21198 habitants et est célèbre dans le monde du sport pour être le siège de l'Union des associations européennes de football (UEFA) et de l'Association européenne des clubs (ECA). Il est relié au reste de la Suisse par la Route Suisse, l'autoroute A1 et les chemins de fer de l'Arc Lémanique.
