Jacopo Sannazaro (prononciation italienne: [ˈjaːkopo sannadˈdzaːro]; 28 juillet 1458 - 6 août 1530) était un poète, humaniste et épigrammiste italien de Naples. Il a écrit facilement en latin, en italien et en napolitain, mais il est surtout connu pour son classique humaniste Arcadia, un chef-d'œuvre qui illustre les possibilités de la prose poétique en italien, et a institué le thème de l'Arcadie, représentant une terre idyllique, dans la littérature européenne. Le style élégant de Sannazaro a inspiré de nombreuses publications courtoises du XVIe siècle, dont Arcadia de Sir Philip Sidney.
