Piacenza (prononciation italienne: [pjaˈtʃɛntsa]; Piacentino: Piaṡëinsa [pi.aˈzəi̯sɐ]; latin: Placentia) est une ville et une commune de la région Émilie-Romagne du nord de l'Italie, la capitale de la province du même nom. L'étymologie est ancienne, retraçant une origine du verbe latin placēre, «faire plaisir». En français, et parfois en anglais, on l'appelle Plaisance.
