Quiliano est une commune de la province de Savone dans la région italienne de Ligurie, située à environ 45 kilomètres (28 mi) au sud-ouest de Gênes et à environ 5 kilomètres (3 mi) à l'ouest de Savone. Au 31 décembre 2004, il avait une population de 7225 habitants et une superficie de 49,5 kilomètres carrés. La municipalité de Quiliano contient ces frazioni (subdivisions, principalement des villages et des hameaux): Cadibona, à cheval sur le bassin versant entre les Alpes et Apennins, Valleggia, Montagna, Roviasca, Faia et Tiassano. Aux alentours de Quiliano subsistent plusieurs sites archéologiques romains: un pont romain fonctionne toujours dans la vallée de Quazzola et des vestiges d'une villa romaine peuvent être vus à San Pietro in Carpignano.Quiliano borde les municipalités suivantes: Altare, Mallare, Orco Feglino, Savona Vado Ligure et Vezzi Portio.

Quarto est un livre ou une brochure produite à partir de "feuilles blanches" complètes, chacune étant imprimée avec huit pages de texte, quatre sur un côté, puis pliée deux fois pour produire quatre feuilles. Les feuilles sont ensuite découpées le long des plis pour produire huit pages de livre. Chaque page imprimée présente une taille d'un quart de la feuille vierge complète. Quarto est également utilisé comme description générale de la taille des livres qui mesurent environ 12 pouces (30 cm) de hauteur, et en tant que tel n'indique pas nécessairement le format d'impression réel des livres, qui peut même être inconnu comme c'est le cas pour de nombreux modernes livres.
