Corniglia est une frazione de la commune de Vernazza dans la province de La Spezia, Ligurie, nord de l'Italie avec une population d'environ 150 (en 2016). Contrairement aux autres localités des Cinque Terre, Corniglia n'est pas directement adjacente à la mer. Au lieu de cela, il est au sommet d'un promontoire d'environ 100 mètres de haut, entouré sur trois côtés par des vignobles et des terrasses, le quatrième côté descend abruptement vers la mer. Pour atteindre Corniglia, il faut gravir la Lardarina, une longue volée de marches en briques composée de 33 volées à 382 marches ou, sinon suivre une route carrossable qui, depuis la gare, mène au village. Parfois, un petit bus circule.

Rapallo (États-Unis: rə-PAH-loh, italien: [raˈpallo], ligure: [ɾaˈpalˑu]) est une municipalité de la ville métropolitaine de Gênes, située dans la région de la Ligurie, dans le nord de l'Italie. En 2017, il comptait 29778 habitants. Il se trouve sur la côte de la mer Ligure, dans le golfe du Tigullio, entre Portofino et Chiavari, à 25 kilomètres à l'est-sud-est de Gênes. Le climat est tempéré. La plupart des villas sont construites dans les collines qui se dressent immédiatement derrière la ville, les protégeant des vents forts du nord.
