Buxtehude officiellement la ville hanséatique de Buxtehude (allemand: Hansestadt Buxtehude, bas allemand: Hansestadt Buxthu (prononciation allemande: [bʊkstˈhu])), est une ville sur la rivière Este dans le nord de l'Allemagne, appartenant à le quartier de Stade en Basse-Saxe. Il se trouve à la frontière sud de l'Altes Land, à proximité de la ville-état de Hambourg. À l'ouest se trouvent les villes de Horneburg et Stade et au sud il y a un certain nombre de villages constitués avec des logements principalement haut de gamme, par exemple Ottensen et Apensen.
