Ivrea (italien: [iˈvrɛːa]; piémontais: Ivrèja [iˈʋrɛja]; français: Ivrée; latin: Eporedia) est une ville et une commune de la ville métropolitaine de Turin dans la région du Piémont du nord-ouest de l'Italie. Situé sur la route menant à la vallée d'Aoste (partie de la Via Francigena médiévale), il chevauche la Dora Baltea et est considéré comme le centre de la région du Canavese. Ivrea se trouve dans un bassin qui, à l'époque préhistorique, a formé un grand lac. Aujourd'hui, cinq petits lacs - Sirio, San Michele, Pistono, Nero et Campagna - se trouvent dans les environs de la ville. Le 1er juillet 2018, le site connu sous le nom de "Ville industrielle du XXe siècle" a été inscrit au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO.

C'est la capitale de la province de Tarente et est un important port commercial ainsi que la principale base navale italienne. Taranto a été fondée par les Spartiates au 8ème siècle avant JC.
