Binche (prononciation française: [bɛ̃ʃ]; wallon: Bince, néerlandais: "Bing") est une ville et une municipalité wallonne située dans la province belge du Hainaut. Au 1er janvier 2006, Binche comptait une population totale de 32 409 habitants. La superficie totale est de 60,66 km², ce qui donne une densité de population de 534 habitants par km². Depuis 1977, la commune de Binche a regroupé la ville de Binche elle-même avec sept anciennes communes: Bray, Buvrinnes, Epinois, Leval-Trahegnies, Péronnes-lez-Binche, Ressaix et Waudrez. La devise de la ville est "Plus Oultre" (qui signifie "Plus loin" en vieux français), qui était la devise du Saint Empereur Romain Charles V, qui en 1545 a donné le Château médiéval de Binche à sa sœur, la Reine Marie de Hongrie.
