Marsala (prononciation italienne: [marˈsala]; sicilien: Maissala, prononcé [majsˈsalà]; latin: Lilybaeum) est une ville italienne située dans la province de Trapani dans la partie la plus occidentale de la Sicile. Marsala est la ville la plus peuplée de sa province et la cinquième en Sicile. La ville est célèbre pour l'accostage de Giuseppe Garibaldi le 11 mai 1860 (l'expédition des Mille) et pour son vin de Marsala. Une caractéristique de la région est la réserve naturelle de la lagune de Stagnone - une zone marine avec des étangs salés. Marsala est construite sur les ruines de l'ancienne ville carthaginoise de Lilybaeum, et comprend sur son territoire le site archéologique de l'île de Motya, une ancienne ville phénicienne.
