Trino est une commune de la province de Verceil dans la région italienne du Piémont, située à environ 50 kilomètres (31 mi) au nord-est de Turin et à environ 15 kilomètres (9 mi) au sud-ouest de Verceil, au pied des collines de Montferrat. Trino est limitrophe des municipalités suivantes: Bianzè, Camino, Costanzana, Fontanetto Po, Livorno Ferraris, Morano sul Po, Palazzolo Vercellese, Ronsecco et Tricerro. Trino était le site de la centrale nucléaire d'Enrico Fermi. L'église romane de San Michele in Insula (construite aux Xe-XIe siècles) possède des fresques du XIIe siècle. L'abbaye de Lucedio est également située sur le territoire municipal.
