Gemonio est une commune (municipalité) de la province de Varèse dans la région italienne de Lombardie, située à environ 60 kilomètres (37 mi) au nord-ouest de Milan et à environ 14 kilomètres (9 mi) au nord-ouest de Varèse. Au 31 décembre 2004, il comptait une population de 2702 habitants et une superficie de 3,7 kilomètres carrés (1,4 miles carrés) .Gemonio borde les municipalités suivantes: Azzio, Besozzo, Brenta, Caravate, Cittiglio, Cocquio-Trevisago. A Gemonio vit Umberto Bossi, un homme politique italien.

Venise (VEN-iss; italien: Venezia [veˈnɛttsja]; vénitien: Venesia ou Venexia, prononcé [veˈnɛsja]) est une ville du nord-est de l'Italie et la capitale de la région de la Vénétie.
