Predosa est une commune de la province d'Alexandrie dans la région italienne du Piémont, située à environ 80 kilomètres (50 mi) au sud-est de Turin et à environ 20 kilomètres (12 mi) au sud d'Alexandrie. Venise (VEN-iss; italien: Venezia [veˈnɛttsja]; vénitien: Venesia ou Venexia, prononcé [veˈnɛsja]) est une ville du nord-est de l'Italie et la capitale de la région de la Vénétie. Avec Padoue et Trévise, la ville est incluse dans la zone métropolitaine de Padoue-Trévise-Venise (PATREVE), qui est considérée comme une zone métropolitaine statistique, avec une population totale de 2,6 millions d'habitants.Le nom est dérivé de l'ancien peuple vénitien qui habitait la région au 10ème siècle avant JC.
