Airole est une commune de la province d'Imperia dans la région italienne de Ligurie, située à environ 130 kilomètres (81 mi) au sud-ouest de Gênes et à environ 40 kilomètres (25 mi) à l'ouest d'Imperia, à la frontière avec la France. Au 31 décembre 2004, elle avait une population de 461 habitants et une superficie de 14,8 kilomètres carrés (5,7 milles carrés) .La municipalité d'Airole contient les frazioni (subdivisions, principalement des villages et hameaux) Collabassa, le cas Noceire et le cas Giauma. Venise (VEN-iss; italien: Venezia [veˈnɛttsja]; vénitien: Venesia ou Venexia, prononcé [veˈnɛsja]) est une ville du nord-est de l'Italie et la capitale de la région de la Vénétie.
