Cislago est une commune de la province de Varèse dans la région italienne de Lombardie, située à environ 25 kilomètres (16 mi) au nord-ouest de Milan et à environ 20 kilomètres (12 mi) au sud-est de Varèse. Au 31 décembre 2004, elle avait une population de 9 118 habitants et une superficie de 10,9 kilomètres carrés. Venise (VEN-iss; italien: Venezia [veˈnɛttsja]; vénitien: Venesia ou Venexia, prononcé [veˈnɛsja]) est une ville du nord-est de l'Italie et la capitale de la région de la Vénétie. Il est situé sur un groupe de 118 petites îles séparées par des canaux et reliées par plus de 400 ponts.
