Orta, anciennement Kar-i pazar, est une ville et un district de la province de Çankırı dans la région de la mer Noire en Turquie. Le nom de Kar-i Pazar signifie terre où les livres sont écrits et lus. Orta est géographiquement située à la frontière des régions de la mer Noire et de l'Anatolie centrale. Le district reste essentiellement toutes les terres entre la montagne Aydos (Aetos (aigle)) qui couvre toute la frontière sud du district et se trouve en dessinant toutes les frontières orientales et nord-est avec les montagnes du mont Sani et du mont Dumanli; et du mont Elden et de Karasivri Montez au nord. Au milieu de toutes ces montagnes, avec l'aide de la rivière Devrez, une plaine de 15 km de largeur et 30 km de longueur s'est formée.
