Viterbo (prononcé [viˈtɛrbo]; Viterbese: Veterbe; latin médiéval: Viterbium) est une ville antique et comune dans la région du Latium en Italie centrale, la capitale de la province de Viterbe. Il a conquis et absorbé la ville voisine de Ferento (voir Ferentium) à ses débuts. Il est à environ 80 kilomètres (50 miles) au nord de GRA (Rome) sur la Via Cassia, et il est entouré par les Monti Cimini et Monti Volsini.
