Tromello est une commune de la province de Pavie dans la région italienne de Lombardie, située à environ 35 km au sud-ouest de Milan et à environ 25 km à l'ouest de Pavie. Au 31 décembre 2004, elle avait une population de 3 561 habitants et une superficie de 35,2 km².Tromello borde les communes suivantes: Alagna, Borgo San Siro, Cergnago, Gambolò, Garlasco, Mortara, Ottobiano, San Giorgio di Lomellina, Valeggio. Le 27 mai 2019, Tromello est devenue la première commune italienne à élire le maire transgenre Gianmarco Negri.

Viareggio est une ville et une commune du nord de la Toscane, en Italie, sur la côte de la mer Tyrrhénienne. Avec une population de plus de 62 000 habitants, c'est la deuxième plus grande ville de la province de Lucques, après Lucques. Elle est connue comme une station balnéaire et abrite le célèbre carnaval de Viareggio (datant de 1873), et ses chars en papier mâché, qui (depuis 1925) défilent le long de la promenade connue sous le nom de "Passeggiata a mare" dans les semaines du Carnaval. Le symbole du carnaval de Viareggio et son masque officiel est Burlamacco, conçu et inventé par Uberto Bonetti en 1930. La ville remonte à la première moitié du XVIe siècle lorsqu'elle est devenue la seule porte d'accès à la mer pour la République de Lucques.
