Oberwald is een dorp in de gemeente Obergoms in het district Goms in het kanton Wallis in Zwitserland. Het ligt op een hoogte van 1.377 m en had in december 2007 277 inwoners. Het ligt aan het einde van de Goms, direct voor de Furka en Grimsel, onder de bron van de Rhône bij de Rhône-gletsjer. Het is ook het startpunt van de Furka-tunnel.
