Bellano is een comune en kleine stad aan de oostelijke oever van het Comomeer in de provincie Lecco in de Italiaanse regio Lombardije, gelegen aan de noordelijke uitlaat van de Valsassina. De belangrijkste attractie van de stad is de Orrido ("kloof" of kleine kloof) die werd gevormd door erosie door de rivier de Pioverna. De erosie is 15 miljoen jaar geleden begonnen. De kerk in de stad heet Santi Nazario e Celso (gebouwd in 1348) en is in gotische stijl. Bellano is de locatie van de meeste romans van de lokale schrijver Andrea Vitali en de geboorteplaats van de 17e-eeuwse schrijver en dichter Sigismondo Boldoni.
