Pirmasens is een onafhankelijke stad in Rijnland-Palts, Duitsland, vlakbij de grens met Frankrijk. Het stond bekend om de vervaardiging van schoenen. Het vormt een enclave in de deelstaat Nedersaksen en ligt aan de monding van de rivier de Weser op de oostelijke oever, tegenover de stad Nordenham.
