Brisighella is een gemeente in de provincie Ravenna, regio Emilia-Romagna, in Noordoost-Italië. Brisighella grenst aan de volgende gemeenten: Casola Valsenio, Castrocaro Terme e Terra del Sole, Faenza, Forlì, Marradi, Modigliana, Palazzuolo sul Senio, Riolo Terme. Het is afkomstig van een rocca-kasteel in opdracht van Maghinardo Pagani en later uitgebreid door Francesco Manfredi, heer van Faenza. Het is de geboorteplaats van Dino Monduzzi (1922-2006), een kardinaal van de rooms-katholieke kerk. Het laatste deel van de roman The Gadfly van Ethel Lilian Voynich (1897) speelt zich af in Brisighella.

Brindisi (VS: BRIN-diz-ee, BREEN-, Italiaans: [ˈbrindisi]; Brindisino: Brìnnisi; Latijn: Brundisium; Oudgrieks: Βρεντέσιον, geromaniseerd: Brentésion; Messapic: Brunda) is een stad in de regio Apulië in het zuiden van Apulië Italië, de hoofdstad van de provincie Brindisi, aan de kust van de Adriatische Zee. Historisch gezien heeft de stad een belangrijke rol gespeeld in handel en cultuur, vanwege de strategische ligging op het Italiaanse schiereiland en de natuurlijke haven aan de Adriatische Zee. De stad blijft een belangrijke haven voor handel met Griekenland en het Midden-Oosten. De industrieën zijn onder meer de landbouw, chemische fabrieken en de opwekking van elektriciteit. De stad Brindisi was van september 1943 tot februari 1944 de voorlopige regeringszetel van het Koninkrijk Italië.
