Keulen is de grootste stad van de dichtstbevolkte deelstaat van Duitsland, Noordrijn-Westfalen, en de op drie na dichtstbevolkte stad van Duitsland. Brugge (BROOZH, Frans: [bʁyʒ]; Vlaams: Brugge [ˈbrʏɣə]; Duits: Brügge [ˈbʁʏɡə]) is de hoofdstad en grootste stad van de provincie West-Vlaanderen in het Vlaamse Gewest van België, in het noordwesten van het land, en de zevende grootste stad van het land door de bevolking.
