Quiliano is een gemeente in de provincie Savona in de Italiaanse regio Ligurië, ongeveer 45 kilometer (28 mijl) ten zuidwesten van Genua en ongeveer 5 kilometer (3 mijl) ten westen van Savona. Corniglia is een frazione in de gemeente Vernazza in de provincie La Spezia, Ligurië, Noord-Italië met ongeveer 150 inwoners (in 2016). In tegenstelling tot de andere plaatsen van de Cinque Terre, grenst Corniglia niet direct aan de zee. In plaats daarvan ligt het op de top van een voorgebergte van ongeveer 100 meter hoog, aan drie kanten omgeven door wijngaarden en terrassen, de vierde kant daalt steil af naar de zee.
